Zarzma Monastery XIV c. AD is the monument of Georgian architecture in Zarzma village, Adigeni Municipality. Domed church, bell tower and a nave chapel (some destroyed) have been preserved. A bit away from them is situated the well-known old spring. Other buildings of the monastery (the monks' cells, the dining hall, etc.) have not been preserved. There are several opinions about the time of founding the monument (VIII, IX cc.). Originally, it was founded by early feudal religious figure Serapion Zarzmeli.
