The memorial apartment of the well-known Georgian composer and folklorist - Zakaria Paliashvili was opened in 1961. About 300 exhibits are kept at the museum either household or personal things, paintings, musical notes, his tuxedo, the illustrations of "Abesalom and Eteri" and " Daisi".
The evenings dedicated to the poetry and music are quite often held at the saloon type museum. The musicians and the music critics who are granted Zakaria Paliashvili reward, gather at the museum. This reward is granted to the musicians in every four years at the museum of Zakaria Paliashvili. The exposition of the museum equally captivates as the fans of the classical music so the others, the family cozy atmosphere and the mood of festivity perfectly merge with each other, resembling a kind of harmonious accord.
